Thirty years ago, Cindy and Gary Blaski opened their local printing center. Today, they are celebrating their successful Allegra Marketing, Print, Mail business that has grown into an award-winning, full-service facility serving hundreds of local businesses and organizations.
Beginning in 1986 under the name American Speedy Printing, the Blaskis changed their business name to Allegra Marketing, Print, Mail in 1997. Allegra, located at 1945 Wright Blvd., has evolved from a printing company to going far beyond just putting ink on paper. Allegra is providing new marketing expertise and resources to help businesses stand out from the competition, reach their market and build market share. “Instead of just asking about paper selection, color and quantity, we want to know about marketing goals, market reach and target audiences,” said Gary Blaski.
As the son of a small trucking company owner, small business is all that Gary Blaski knew. “Both Cindy and I are lifetime area residents and wanted to find a business opportunity of our own that we could bring to our local communities,” said Gary Blaski. “While we had no experience in printing or graphics 30 years ago, we liked the business model and understood the commitment needed to run a small business. Once we learned the technical aspects, we were able to quickly start helping local businesses with their printing and graphics needs, and have continued to expand our skill set to offer multi-channel marketing solutions. What we’ve been most proud of is continuing to grow our business while helping our customers do the same.”
For many businesses, especially smaller ones, having a single-source provider that can provide cost-effective access to marketing expertise is a welcomed resource. Allegra is also helping businesses get the most from their mailings, brochures and other print communications, as well as serving as a source for promotional products, signage, posters and banners and even website development. Allegra provides multi-channel marketing counsel and solutions to help their customers stand out in a highly-competitive marketplace.
The Blaskis continue to research and offer new services to benefit customers. “By offering more enhanced capabilities to our clients, we believe Allegra can provide better service, faster turnaround and a better overall product to meet the time demands of today’s businesses,” continued Gary Blaski.
Allegra is locally-owned and operated and is a member of Alliance Franchise Brands network, a world leader in marketing, graphics and visual communications, linking nearly 600 locations in North America and the United Kingdom.
